I am Spyder’s current maintainer and have been working in the Scientific Python stack for the last ten years, first as a volunteer and then as part of Anaconda (2015 - 2017) and now Quasight. I currently manage a team of seven developers that contribute to Spyder and its several subprojects. I'm a physicist by training and currently finishing a PhD in Industrial Engineering at Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia). Besides, I also have five years of experience as a lecturer of Physics and Mathematics courses at different Colombian universities.
